He worked diligently throughout the years to grow both United and Armstrong, resulting in a solid company partnership that has lasted more than 60 years. Mr. Anderson was elected to the United Van Lines board of directors and served for years in numerous capacities and was the corporation’s treasurer at the time of his death in 1985. They are a big lair.
They will always say they are a carrier , they are just broker. they will do a contract with you and subcontract to some other company. after that they will not attend your call.

You will end-up fighting with subcontractor on small issues.

they will not show-up on the date you decide.

Well, my girlfriend made all the arrangements, then conveniently had to go to work, so it was up to me to get the boxes. I met Armstrong Moving & Storage while he was delivering boxes to someone else, and waited while he finished up with their delivery. If I wasn’t leaving the area, next time I needed boxes I would call him. But I guess the point of moving is to move. We compared prices with a few stores and found out that meeting Armstrong Moving & Storage was the best deal and he even gave us a few extra because I came to him. I highly recommend calling and working with him, either having him deliver or meeting him somewhere. He does get busy, because this is moving out season, but not so much that he forgets pleasant small talk or makes you feel rushed.

They showed up on time and worked quickly. So quickly in fact that they finished an estimated two hour job in less than an hour. It did however raise a bit of a dilemma in terms of tipping. I do not own enough big and heavy STUFF, or at least I am below average in this regard. I’m rather happy about this mover.
